Born in Queens NY and raised in Bowie MD, Brenden came from a very cultured family who placed an emphasis on creative arts. At age five, Brenden discovered a passion for piano and voice that was unrivaled by anything else in his life. For many years classically trained, in both voice and piano, Brenden soon began experimenting with creating his own sound. Showing an aptitude for a career in the music arts, he was offered a consecutive 2-year scholarship to the Grammy Foundation's music camp. After receiving a scholarship to Citrus College in 2007, Brenden embarked on a new journey to the West Coast and moved to California. Since then, Brenden has vibrantly pushed his music career forward through participating in commercial jingles, recording hooks for other artist projects and recently released his first, full-length, self-produced album ANTICIPATION. Never giving up, Brenden continues to actively work towards and pursue his dream of becoming a full-time artist and performer.
Brenden released "Authentic Leigh," his sophmore album into the world September of 2017. With a mature outlook, Brenden ventures into the LGBT community. The album explores themes of sexuality, a myriad of musical genres and personal experiences. With Brenden’s first album ANTICIPATION, completely produced, written and performed alone, Authentic Leigh includes many talented guest artists and producers.
